This review was not an exhaustive test of all the Rockford Fosgate Power 1001BD Monoblock Amplifier features. Our goal was to provide readers with a good overview of the sound quality of this unit. We tested this Amp in two different setups.
First, we played through it using the included speaker cables. This test represents the typical use of the unit.
Second, we connected it to a set of Zektor 4×12 speakers using the speaker crossovers built into the Power 1001BD Monoblock Amplifier. In this second test, we listened to tracks recorded through the Amp’s internal digital source and songs recorded from CD, MP3, and FLAC files.
We noticed no distortion at full volume and no audio clipping in this setup. We also noticed very little noise from the amplifier.
Overall, this is a solid performer in our tests.
